Purpose

This project was created as part of my studies at NAIT

Task

Create a custom theme package for a holiday of your choice and design and illustrate a card, gift tag and wrapping paper for the occasion.

Process

I decided on Valentine's Day for my holiday and incorporated my interest in otherworldliness, and landed on an Alien-themed Valentine's Day Package. I started this project with pen and paper, sketching out various ideas of quotes and imagery that match my theme. Once I had a number of ideas, I received peer feedback on my designs and went forward with the best ideas into Adobe Illustrator to bring my idea to life.
